Spent a wonderful afternoon at Halton House near Wendover in Buckinghamshire. Normally open for one day a year but for the weekend 5th & 6th October 2013, as there is an exhibition of Graham Turner & Michael Turner's paintings, there were tours of the building. www.haltonhouse.org.uk/ Built for Alfred de Rothschild between 1880 and 1883.
