Sarah Bidner on Instagram: "Impasto is a technique used in painting, where paint is applied thickly. Using a palette knife you can add layers mixing the colours together directly on the canvas. You can use this technique with both oils and acrylics. In this video I am using heavy body acrylic paint and I add an extra heavy gel by @goldenpaints to thicken it even more. Ask any questions on impasto below ⬇️ This one is still a WIP but hopefully will finish it up this week. 🥰🌸 . . . . #thickpaint #impasto #impastopainting #acrylicpainting" Palette Knife Acrylic Painting, Impasto Painting Acrylic, Abstract Sunflower Painting, Knife Painting Acrylic, Impasto Technique, Sarah Mcdonald, Impasto Art, Palette Knife Art, Impasto Painting
