Nathan Jonas "Joey" Jordison (April 26, 1975 – July 26, 2021) was an American drummer and guitarist. He was best known for his role as the drummer for Slipknot during the 1990s and 2000s until his departure in late 2013. He also substituted for drummer John Dolyman of System Of A Down during a concert on October 31st, 2001 as well as filling in for Metallica's drummer Lars Ulrich in 2004's Download Festival.
