The 2nd grade students learned about the life cycle of a tree through the book, Sky Tree. We also discussed what a life cycle is. Students were able to use one point perspective to create a tree. Students learned that there are many different ways you can look at an object. Students were able to draw a tree as if they were lying underneath the tree looking up. This week, 2nd grade started their Fall reflection paintings. These were created in just a few steps. This project was inspired by, Lauralee Chambers .
