When I apply the stick as a tool I am giving the client the ability to not only get into the position or stretch, but to be confident in that movement. The stick allows me to have control and a good understanding of the client’s range; it lets me know how much pressure and allows me to focus more on one side without having to worry about the other when required. For this particular client who is a #bodybuilder, posing is just as crucial as the training is, so putting a lot attention to rotational movements is key.
