Pierre-Joseph Redouté (1759 –1840) Belgian born French Watercolorist and botanist. Illustrator of approximately 50 botanical books. An official court artist to Queen Marie Antoinette, patronized by Empress Joséphine and by later French Royalty. Pierre-Joseph Redouté "Les Roses" (1817-1824) 3 volume set.
