I don't deserve to be treated this way

I was in the middle of a mom-meltdown when my daughter wrote me a note, telling me what she thought of me. I know I didn't deserve to be treated that way.

Don't chase. Know your worth and know that you deserve to at least be met halfway. If they won't match your effort, they don't want to be in your life.

I wish I lived by this quote a long time ago, their comes a point in your life when you think why do people treat me the way they do, but when you think about it, it's you, if you stood up for your self and show them it's not right, and not tolerate it then they wouldn't treat you like that because you wouldn't allow it. Note to future self, only let people treat you how you want to be treated, and if they won't treat you that way, just walk away...

This is true for everyone. Love yourself most of all and u will never be excepting of anything or anyone less then amazing. Only then will u truly really realize who you deserve, what you deserve and how you deserve to be treated. This is why most of us stay in bad relationships, because we don't love ourselves enough and feel like that's what we deserve. so we settle with the ones who bring us down and mistreat us while we blame ourselves for our reactions to their actions or lack of.
