Taking the viral Korean ramen steamed egg hack, but upgrading it to a seafood steamed egg - almost like a Japanese chawanmushi 🥰. Don’t forget the milk/cream!

amy on Instagram: "POV: its 2020 and you’re trying the kewpie mayo shin ramen hack 🍜 Honestly I forget if it was 2020 or 2021 when this hack first went viral..its been kinda long 😩 I made this with half the soup base packet and a ladle of water to get more of a carbonara like texture instead of a creamy broth. Ingredients Shin Ramen 1 egg yolk 1 green onion stalk, chopped 1 garlic clove, minced 1-2tbsp kewpie mayo (depends on preference) 1. In a bowl combine half of the soup packet, green onions, garlic, and mayo 2. Cook the noodles. Add some of the cooking liquid to the bowl from step 1 while stirring fairly quickly. You want to slowly bring the yolk temperature up and not immediately cook it or you’ll get lumps. I think my ladles is about 1/3c.
