These easy heart jam cookies are perfect for Valentines day or as holiday cookies! An easy sugar cookie recipe with thumbprint hearts, filled with your favorite jam. We like strawberry, but cherry and raspberry work really well too!

Adapted from "Thumbprints" from Cookies at Home with The Culinary Institute of America by Todd Knaster. The original recipe says it will make about 3 dozen small cookies, but I got 54 cookies when I made the balls about 1" diameter.
