1️⃣ I don’t have a hyper extension machine. so the last thing you want to do is use a traditional Romanian deadlift because 

• I already have those in my program as one of my big 3 compounds 
• and this movement here replicates something with a straight leg, and no assisting quad. 

2️⃣ Ultimately this movement targets a bigger extension of the hamstrings and glutes, specifically without as much upper back dominance and demand from the body overall with a much larger weight (like Romanians, where you’d typically lift way more than this) 

3️⃣ if you want more glute and posterior development in your program overall, h Quad, Hyper Extension, Hamstrings And Glutes, Romanian Deadlift, Open Me, Influencer, Straight Leg
