Hot Toddy
Hot Toddy 1 tablespoon honey, 1 oz whisky (jameson), 1 lemon wedge, 1 cup hot water, 1 teabag (lipton) Directions: Coat the bottom of your coffee cup with honey. Add the whisky and lemon juice from the lemon wedge. In a separate pot combine the water and the tea and allow to steep for 5 minutes. Add the tea mixture to the honey mixture.
Blackberry Hot Toddy
Blackberry Hot Toddy: 6 oz package of blackberries (set aside 2 berries for garnish) 4 oz bourbon whiskey (gin or rum can be substituted) 2 tsp raw sugar (plus extra for edge of glass – optional) 1 tsp vanilla extract 8 oz Early Grey or other mild, freshly brewed hot tea 2 lemon wedges 1 long sprig of thyme
1 and 1/2 cup Smirnoff kissed caramel vodka, 1/2 gallon apple cider, 1/4 cup bourbon (optional but cuts sweetness), 2-3 cin. sticks, whipped cream. Combine the Vodka, Apple Cider, Bourbon and Cinnamon Sticks in a stove-top pan. Heat and simmer until ready to drink. When ready to drink, pour the Hot Toddy into heat-proof mugs and place a large dollop of Cool Whip or Whipping Cream on top. ENJOY!!
