Saw this print years ago in New Orleans. The artist is George Rodrigue. "I never felt compelled to "get my story straight" about the Blue Dog was that itself isn't a character in narrative or a cartoon-it is nothing more tabs nothing less than a reflection of all truths, joys, sorrows, dreams, and love of its creator."
