Dorothy Gish (1898 - 1968) Sister of Lillian Gish, Dorothy often starred with Lillian in early films. While Lillian was a serious actress, Dorothy was a comedienne.  Dorothy starred a series of wildly popular films under the D.W. Griffith' supervised films for Triangle-Fine Arts and Paramount from 1918 to 1920.Gish died of pneumonia in 1968. Just like I did with the Talmadge sisters, I will do with the Gish sisters. I am starting with Dorothy first because, well, she isn't as big of a project as Lillian.
