This activity provides a great opportunity to learn about and recognise emotions. Pointing out what each expression could mean (angry, silly, sad etc) is a great way to reinforce the meaning/emotion behind the faces and ultimately help your toddler identify and express their own feelings. 

It's also great for fine motor development, colour recognition, focus & concentration, and language development!
