Rhythm in art is important because it can make a piece more interesting to look at. It might be the lines, or colors that create this rhythm. A lot of times we see patterns and rhythms in nature - like waves crashing on the beach, trees swaying in the breeze, and shadows created by sunlight passing through leaves. I'm originally from Colorado and I go home pretty often. One thing I love about Colorado is the varied landscape. Yes there are mountains ;) but there are also great plains, sand dunes and amazing mesas.
