For the first episode of A to Z of Chaumasa food series, we are making achaari masala from scratch which goes inside the laccha parathas. These are great for aatham-chaudas too.😋

How to?
✨ Heat a pan and then lower the flame. Add 2 tsp fennel seeds, 1 tsp cumin seeds, 1/8 tsp fenugreek seeds and 3 kashmiri red chillies. Roast until fragrant.
✨ Pulse it into a coarse powder and add 1/4 tsp rai ki dal, 1/8 tsp turmeric, 2 tsp aamchur powder, 1/8 tsp hing and black salt.
✨ Further add a teaspoon mustard oil (sarso ka tel) to bind the masala together.
✨ Roll out a paratha, apply a generous amount of the masala and some ghee, rub it well.
✨ Then fold the paratha thinly in fan motion and swirl it in. Tuck it in Sarso Ka Tel, Laccha Paratha, Jain Recipes, Black Salt, Cumin Seeds, Mustard Oil, Fenugreek Seeds, Fennel Seeds, A To Z
