You MUST message me a picture of your door so I can confirm notch location!! If it's easier you can send to my cell directly at 909-319-5457. I do accept direct payments via Apple Pay, Venmo, Cash Ap, or Zelle (free and reputable). This helps you avoid paying state taxes on your purchases ($20-$30) and helps me avoid the ever increasing seller fees. I include the needed anchors for hollow core doors and easy to follow directions. Most people report they mount both in ten minutes or less. (For solid wood doors any regular wood screw will work). I only use wood stains, NOT paint. **The white stain is popular BUT: It is "Antique White" wood stain that I purchase from HD. It is a light/faded, off white, sometimes eggshell or with pink undertones - NOT deep or dark white. Please be advised that some buyers painted the rack themselves and uploaded photos afterwards. I do NOT use paints. The color swatch I added is representative only. All stains vary depending on many factors beyond my control. Some will show up lighter or darker than in the examples. E.G. I can tell you Colonial Maple is darker with more orange undertones than as seen in the swatch. Kona is actually expresso - darkest brown before going to black. The 3.5 version refers to having the rack being uniformly 3.5 inches deep (deep meaning front to back when standing in front of it) from top to bottom. The 4 inch version prices include full backboard (required for that version) I CAN make them shorter/narrower if needed. Feel free to send me a sketch of what you need. The pine wood is .75 inches thick so just take that into account when you do the math. If your sketch is larger than my standard it will cost more. These ship in TWO units. Each unit is 35.5 inches tall and 19.5 inches wide! I do encourage using wire rope across the front as opposed to wooden dowels/rods because the dowels take up shelf space. However, the dowels have some flex in case you need it. COLORS: refer to the swatch but understand yours may come out darker or lighter than as seen in the swatch! The 3.5” version is most popular and better (in my opinion)--the two racks are uniformly 3.5 inches deep from top to bottom. The 4th photo is natural/unstained BUT that customer went out and bought a can of polyurethane and sprayed it himself which is how it got that amber tint to it. I do not offer a polyurethane option nor the version the tapered version he bought (as of October 2024) SPECS: --- It ships in TWO halves. ---Each unit is 35.5” tall and when mounted on top of each other the total height is 71” ( you can choose to not mount them directly on top of each other if you want to store taller items on the top of the bottom half--see customer uploaded photos) ---19.5" total width (shelf space is 18") I make these in the basement (full time high school special ed teacher) after hours. I hope to sell a few each month to supplement my income - (pay back student loans and credit card debt!) Remember "free shipping" really just means that I'm paying for shipping! ***note: this has never been an issue but to be clear: These racks have a "RUSTIC" nature to them. This means that because I make them myself - NOT A MACHINE -there will be imperfections - that is kind of the whole point of them being "rustic".** Despite my best efforts, There may be some brush strokes present or stain blemishes/blotches . Keep in mind that I have no control over the wood that is available to purchase from the store - sometimes it's naturally a darker/lighter shade, more/less voids/holes/knots, grain patterns etc I cannot control these things. Some types of wood sand better than others, (less fuzzy wood grain etc), some accept stain better than others (darker/lighter shades). I do my best to keep things as uniform as possible BUT please understand that no two racks will be exactly the same. Rest assured your rack will be unique :) The backside of the racks is NOT stained and will have random blotches from the production process. This is normal and to be expected as it will be placed against a door or wall and hidden from view. If for some reason you want it stained please let me know. There may be some chips/peeling on the BACK side of the backboards. This is also normal and I can't control the quality of the plywood backing from HD. It will not compromise the strength/integrity of the rack. Please reach out anytime. I try to respond promptly. I prefer if you text my cell 909-319-5457 Here is a link to a video a buyer made for me a while back. Just copy and past into you browser. I do want to point out that about 30 seconds in, she has some spices sort of resting on the wire rope. I would not encourage that as over time it could loosen up... https://youtu.be/7-92TCaSohk
