The Forgo Wasteland is a level from Kirby and the Forgotten Land, found in the Isolated Isles: Forgo Dreams, which functions as the game's Extra Game. It is unlocked by clearing the Forgo Horns, and its own completion unlocks the Forgo Zone. While Kirby heads through this level, he can find 49 pieces of Leongar's soul. An illusory copy of the Sillydillo, known as the Phantom Sillydillo, is fought at the end of the level.

Description[]

The Forgo Wasteland is created from the main game's Originull Wasteland.

Starting Area[]

This section is created from the first segment of The Wastes Where Life Began, and contains nine soul pieces. Kirby starts just south of a pool of water in the southern segment of the level, with a few enemies in his way around the pool. The southeast corner of the map has four spinning platforms that circle around a stationary platform in the centre of a goopy swamp; a single soul piece can be found here. To the southwest of the area's centre, somewhat north of the landing point, lies a track where Kirby can mould his body around a scissor-lift platform and move it on a track, though falling pillars menace him here.

At the western edge of the area lies a platform where Fleurina lurks. Rabiroos can be found on the platforms nearby, their platforms being inaccessible until she is taken down. Dust piles can be found on the platforms; they can be cleared away using the Tornado ability. Poison goo surrounds all three platforms. Three soul pieces are hidden here. The beached ship at the northeast has another soul piece that can be revealed by clearing away dust. There is a switch that can be revealed by pulling out a dome, creating a track that Kirby can take another scissor-life platform on. The northernmost section of the level has a Warp Star that leads to the next area.

Sandy Building Area[]

After Kirby leaves the starting area, he will land on a sandy rooftop, where a Poison Croakom lurks on a higher platform. This area is recreated from Searching The Oasis, having seven soul pieces. Kirby can find a waterspout on the Poison Croakom's level and can use it to dispose of the Poison Croakom. There is also a switch on the third level that Kirby can use to raise the waterspout to it. A second Poison Croakom can be found here, and they both can be destroyed with the waterspout. The third level also has some flowers that Kirby can water to get three soul pieces.

Shopping Mall Area[]

After Kirby leaves the Sandy Building section, he will land in this area, which is based on Alivel Mall (Staff Side) and contains ten soul pieces. The music is clearer in the southern rooms and muffled in the northern rooms. Kirby has to stuff his body with a vending machine, then carry it to a rectangle-shaped hole, allowing him to access the next area. There is an Invincible Candy that gives Kirby invincibility for a time. After this, Kirby must stuff a hoop into his mouth and bring it back to a round hole, unlocking another section of the mall with a soul piece. There is also a dust pile that Kirby can clear with a gust of wind from his hoop to reveal a second Invincible Candy, which helps with plowing through some Mumbieses on his way back. The next section has a triangle-shaped hole, which Kirby must fit into unlock by stuffing a cone into his mouth and jumping in to unlock another section. Totorners can be found here, although Kirby can pierce their shells with the cone, and a Jabhog appears as well. The cone in question is a replica of ice cream, and the room where Kirby finds it is below the end, so he must use a teleportation platform to get back up. Foleys appear here, though Kirby can find a third Invincible Candy to plow through their swarm. The unlocked area contains three soul pieces. Just behind the Jabhog is a room that contains the last soul piece. Kirby must head further east and knock down a storage locker with his Mouthful Mode skill in order to free up the door that leads to the next area.

Canyon Area[]

When Kirby heads through the door, he will pop out in a recreation of Moonlight Canyon, which has nine soul pieces. Gusts of wind can be found here, so Kirby will have to watch his footing to avoid getting knocked off the platforms to his demise. The Needle ability is useful here, since that power allows Kirby to ignore the wind. Just after the middle is a Scissor-Lift section, where Kirby has to use the Needle ability to hit a switch, then use the Scissor-Lift to make his way to an alcove that holds a soul piece. This area is followed with a section with a falling pillar. After one last climb, Kirby will find a door that he can use to get to the next area as well as a Rare Stone.

Tunnel Area[]

This section of the level has nine soul pieces. Kirby will have to traverse a dark tunnel, which has lanterns that he can use the Fire ability to activate. The music in this area is the same music as in the light bulb segment of Invasion at the House of Horrors, albeit with an Egyptian vibe. There are spike traps that Kirby needs to avoid. At the far north is a Warp Star that Kirby can use to exit the tunnel as well as a wall of fiery logs that Kirby can destroy by using a hoop in his mouth to blow a gust of wind.

Cave Area[]

Upon landing, Kirby will land in this recreation of the boss stage of Originull Wasteland, Collector in the Sleepless Valley.

Hallway[]

The cave that leads to the boss is shorter than the original version. Up ahead is a larger chamber which is a recreation of the chamber where Kirby had a run-in with the original Sillydillo during his search for Elfilin. The music reverts back to Faded Dream of a Psychomeddler, which plays in all levels of Isolated Isles: Forgo Dreams except Forgo Zone and Forgo Land.

Boss Chamber[]

This chamber is a recreation of the room where the original Sillydillo kept some of his loot. When Kirby makes his way into the room, the Phantom Sillydillo appears behind the Pink Puff's back, commencing his boss battle. Damaging him enough causes him to drill through the floor, forcing Kirby to drop into the cave below in order to continue the fight.

Open Cave[]

Damaging the Phantom Sillydillo enough will cause him to reveal this section of the level immediately below the Boss Chamber by rolling in place akin to a drill, forcing Kirby into the chamber. The last two phases of the fight take place here. Kirby will be blinded by a sandstorm in the final leg of the fight. When Kirby destroys the Phantom Sillydillo, the last five pieces of Leongar's soul will appear for the taking.
