One tree

On May 1st my Mom died....... I knew this day would come, if life follows it's prescribed order, but denial is a better friend. That it came following a fall, brain surgery and ultimately hospice, was not in the plan, but what is? Hey, uff...this took me some effort to capture. I had to prepare myself a lot for this shot. I've been there on an afternoon to check the spot out, where to place the tripod and stuff.. Then I was realllly lucky it was sunny but it was said to rain in the evening but I didn't mind.. so I build up my setup and took always two shots.
