The cracks that formed during the drying process could not deter us from finishing this beautiful bowl. The simple, low-profile design draws attention to the spectacular "volcanic eruption" in the wood grain. This piece is a timeless treasure that will never go out of style! SIZE: 22" across and 5" high. FINISH: acrylic enamel, a durable, high-gloss finish that does not require oiling. CARE: dry dust or handwash with warm soapy water when necessary. Wild Wood bowls are hand turned on the lathe from local logs destined to be burned or eaten by termites and fungi had they not been rescued by the hands of an artist. They are turned green and dried slowly to allow them to shape naturally. The result is truly organic. Each piece reveals the wild beauty hidden beneath the common exterior of our native trees. We use solid or amber colored containers to package our products to preserve the delicate volatile essential oils within. Our perfume oils are handcrafted using only pure essential oils and herbal base oils. We believe in transparency and disclose all of the ingredients that go into making our products. There are no hidden synthetics tucked behind fancy names in our products. Our wood products are handcrafted from native trees that have either died naturally or would have been consigned to the chipper had they not been rescued by the hands of an artist.
