Description[]

Mario or another character (excluding the Yoshis and Nabbit) can become their Bubble form by touching a Bubble Flower. While a character is in this form, they can blow bubbles that follow a straight path unless they get drawn to an enemy. If an enemy is hit by a bubble, they are trapped and transformed them into a coin. Bubbles can go through walls and even defeat stronger enemies such as Dry Bones. A character can jump off of bubbles.

As Bubble Mario, Mario wears a pink version of his standard cap and shirt and a red version of his standard dungaree. Bubble Luigi's outfit is identical to Bubble Mario's, with only the pink hat and shirt changed to green. Both Bubble forms of Peach and Daisy have their panniers, collar, and frills changed to pink and yellow respectively. Bubble Toad and Toadette's form is similar to their Fire form, except that Yellow Toad and Blue Toad's hat spots and vest are purple while Toadette's are pink.

Trivia[]

• The Bubble Mario form was likely inspired from the Bubble Baby Yoshis in New Super Mario Bros. U.
• This form is also similar to Cloud Mario from Super Mario Galaxy 2 as both forms allow Mario to create a light substance (bubbles and clouds) that can be used as temporary platforms.
