Lava Labyrinth is a free-for-all minigame in Mario Party: Star Rush.

Opening[]

For a few seconds, the path to each of the treasure chests is shown, then the camera zooms back to the start.

Gameplay[]

Each character has to navigate through the labyrinth and aim to reach the biggest treasure chest first. Magmaarghs come out of lava, and if a character touches them, they become stunned briefly. Whoever reaches the biggest gold treasure is the winner. Meanwhile, whoever reaches the medium-size silver treasure is ranked second, and whoever reaches the smallest bronze treasure is third. Whoever does not reach any of the treasure chests or the skeletal fish is fourth and loses at the minigame.

The positions of the treasure chests are randomized whenever the minigame is played, but not the paths leading to them.
