A Mega Strike is a powerful ability used by team captains in Mario Strikers Charged. It replaces the Super Strike from Super Mario Strikers.

A Mega Strike can be activated by holding to charge as a meter appears on-screen. As a white line moves left on the meter, wherever it lands determines the speed of the ball being thrown; from fastest to slowest, the meter consists of a yellow, an orange, and a red portion. Upon activating their Mega Strike, the captain launches up into the air, where a close-up of them powering their move is shown, and proceeds to kick it at the goalie. Performing a Mega Strike takes a few seconds, so it is easy for an opponent to block one from being used. Depending on how a character executes their Mega Strike, it is possible for them to kick up to six balls, possibly scoring six goals in the process.

Unlike in Super Mario Strikers, the characters do not have a name for their own Mega Strike.
