Tyrant is a heavyweight and is one of Bowser's three karts in Mario Kart DS, along with the Standard BW and the Hurricane. During gameplay, only Bowser has the option to use the Tyrant, however Wario and Waluigi can use the Tyrant once the player completes all 150cc Nitro or Retro Grand Prix cups, and all racers can use this kart once all cups in Mirror Mode have been completed.
Description[]
This kart resembles Bowser's foot. It is the Koopa King's successor from Mario Kart: Double Dash!!.
Statistics[]
This is the heaviest kart in the game and has very high top speed, the lowest acceleration and handling in the game, but has fairly high drift, and has a high items stat as well. It is considered to be the worst kart in the game, making it barely used by players.
Its speed is shared with R.O.B.'s ROB-LGS, and its drift is equivalent with Toad's 4-Wheel Cradle. It shares its items stat with all other characters' heavier karts.
