Wayward Water is a microgame under Mona's That's Life category in WarioWare: Get It Together!.

Gameplay[]

The player's character has to rotate blue pipe segments so that the inflow pipe and the outflow pipe connect, allowing for water to pour out. In doing so, the player wins the microgame, but if they fail to meet this objective on time, they lose.

Kat and Ana are listed as the least suitable because their continuous jumping can cause them to needlessly rotate pipes they come in contact with from the top and the bottom, even if they are in the correct orientation.

In two-player mode, whoever rotates more segments receives an effort point if the microgame is won. If both players rotate the same number of segments, neither of them receive an effort point.

Difficulty levels[]

  • Level 1: Two segments have to be rotated in a basic setup so a child can wash their hands with the water.
  • Level 2: The player's character must rotate either two segments in a complex setup or three pipe segments in a basic setup so that the child from Sugar Rush can drink the water.
  • Level 3: Three segments have to be rotated in a complex setup so that segments of a burger can drop onto an alien's plate.

Mission[]

  • Upside Down the Drain: As Master Mantis, the player must go upside down with the first jump and complete the microgame without returning to the ground. This mission can only be cleared in single-player mode.
