Beyonder's Construct

The Beyonder's Construct suddenly appeared in the sheep's meadow in Central Park leading up to the events of the initial Secret Wars. The structure was detected by various groups and individuals including the Avengers, the Fantastic Four, the X-Men, Spider-Man, and the Hulk due to its immense energetic and psionic bursts. Upon investigation of the structure and after getting within close proximity, many of the heroes vanished and ultimately discovered themselves within a force field contained structure in space. Many of their most powerful foes were in a similar structure until the Beyonder created the patchwork Battleworld and they were deposited on the planet's surface.

After the conclusion of the Secret Wars event, Reed Richards discovered a way to teleport everyone back to Earth. Upon doing so, they found themselves back in the Central Park sheep meadow next to a reappeared construct. The construct then vanished after everyone had returned to Earth save the Thing who remained behind on Battleworld to do some soul searching.
