Earth-761243 / Earth-794282[]

He Who Remains, the final director of the Time Variance Authority in the last reality of the Multiverse was based in the Citadel at the End of Time. He created the Time-Twisters to teach the next universal cycle, but instead of going towards the next universe they started traveling into the past of the current one, destroying the very universe they were currently in. Thor with the help of Jane Foster and the Warriors Three, told He Who Remains that his Time-Twisters were breaking the past, which caused Him to prevent their existence.[1] This split the reality into two: Earth-761243, where the Time-Twisters were born; and Earth-794282, where they were not and were replaced by the more perfect Time-Keepers instead.[2]

Earth-TRN870 ("Sacred Timeline")[]

Citadel at the End of Time from Loki (TV series) Season 1 6 001
He Who Remains was the only survivor of the Multiversal War between different counterparts of himself. He established the Time Variance Authority to prevent any future counterparts of himself by pruning all branching timeline deviations, no matter how minor. He Who Remains resided in the Citadel at the End of Time, a castle carved out of a solid asteroid that was located outside the timestream of the "Sacred Timeline". Near to the end of his near-infinite knowledge, he was visited by two Variants of the same person: Loki Laufeyson and Sylvie Laufeydottir. He explained to them their choices: to take over the TVA and continue his mission in a more benevolent way or kill him and let the branching timeline plunge the Multiverse into a new chaos. Sylvie was determied in her quest and after sending Loki away, killed He Who Remains by stabbing him through his chest.[3]
