Fantastic Four (Earth-80763)

The Fantastic Four's history is presumably similar to their Earth-616 counterpart's. When the Fantastic Four were warned about something in the center of the Earth by Moon Girl and Valeria Richards that threaten the planet, the Watcher appeared and revealed that the threat was the Unmaker, a super-powerful machine imprisoned in the Earth's core that threatend to destroy the planet in its attempt to get free. Mister Fantastic and Valeria worked with other geniuses to come up with a solution. It was eventually agreed to send a team to Earth's core to stop the Unmaker. The team included Invisible Woman and the Thing to provide protection with force fields and to provide muscle respectively.

The team battled the Unmaker. However, three of its members, including Thing, were killed by the Unmaker. Surviving team member Doctor Strange opened up a portal to another dimension to unleash an EMP powerful to stop the Unmaker but was also fatally injured by the Unmaker. With his last act, Strange returned Invisible Woman to the surface. However, Strange was unable to close the portal, unleashing an EMP that wiped out technology all over the planet. Society eventually rebuilt itself with the remaining members surviving the chaos that followed.^[1]

Reed was later captured by Apocalypse along with other geniuses to help him work toward obtaining the power of the Unmaker. Reed was assumed dead, but his fate was discovered by Quicksilver. Quicksilver revealed what the found but not before being mind-controlled by Apocalypse's ally the Purple Man to go on a rampage that resulted in the death of the Human Torch. Reed and the others geniuses were eventually rescued, and Apocalype was killed.^[2]
