Judith Cort was the ex-wife of Michael "Man Mountain" Marko, a genetically-enhanced gangster. They had a daughter together, but Michael walked out on her and Judith shortly after she was born. Twelve years later, Judith's daughter began manifesting powers similar to Michael. He somehow learned about her powers from prison, and he threatened to kill Judith and take her daughter. Judith sought the protection of Moon Knight at his Midnight Mission, and explained the matter with Marko and their daughter. Moon Knight accepted her plea and infiltrated The Myrmidon to brutally settle the issue with Marko.[1]
