Kevin Brackett (Earth-616)

Kevin Brackett was a mercenary that was employed by Roxxon's Nth Command. At some point his Nth Projector malfunxtioned and he fell into a portal to an unknown dimension, where he encountered the Geometer. The Geometer believed in changing realities to fit into his idea of geometric perfection and used his Lathe of Perfection to alter Brackett into a geometric being, but he escaped before the process was complete. ^[2]

Taking the identity of the Angler, he was returned to earth and attempted to track down an Nth Projector to return to the Geometer. He traveled to Four Freedoms Plaza and broke into Reed's weapons vault to find one. He encountered both Quasar and Human Torch and was captured after trying to take Kayla Ballantine hostage and the Nth Projector was destroyed. Angler was then sent to the Vault^[3]

Angler escaped through unknown means and sought out Kayla but was recaptured when her Star Brand power activated.^[4]

When the Vault became overcrowded, Angler was to be transported to Project P.E.G.A.S.U.S. under the care of the Squadron Supreme. Whilst being probed he fully mutated into his angular form and went on a rampage through the facility. Quasar found another Nth Projector which the facility had stored and used it to send the Angler out of there dimension. The fate of the Angler is unknown, but the Geometer used this to teleport to Earth.^[5]

Body Transformation (Self): Angler's partially transformed body is able to move at will partially or totally through hyper-space, enabling him to pass through solid matter at will, teleport short distances, and separate his form at will to avoid attack. His right hand is a two-pronged fork. It is composed of a dense form of crystalline matter and tapers to points that are only atoms thick; this enables it to slice through virtually all forms of matter and energy. After being completely transformed he grew to a height of approximately 12-15 feet. His whole body was composed of this dense crystalline material, which proved highly resistant to injury. Both hands were formed into two-pronged forks, and he could still phase into hyper-space at will.
