A designer data shareholding device imparted onto X by the Shi'ar; coupled with an Antimatter Generator to power the new system augmentations made to Cerebro.[1] The memo crystals would serve as the ultimate storage space containers for the hard copied mental engrams of fallen mutants upon the mutant tracker's main server. Whenever a Krakoan lived and coasted through life; their very psychological states would be recorded through the diamonds by Cerebro until the time came when they were needed to rebirth one of Krakoa's fallen children.[2]
