Maybelle Parker (Earth-3123)

Origins[]

Due to her nephew Peter having forgotten his lunch at home, May Parker rushed to a science demonstration to give it to him. There she was bitten by a Radioactive Spider which gave her spider-like powers.

Using a costume to hide her real identity, May set out to earn money for the family doing stunts. However, when the villain Leap-Frog made an appearance, the Spider-Ma'am defeated him and became a crime fighter.^[3]

Spider-Verse[]

During the first Totem War, Karn came to Earth-3123 to kill the spider-totem of this reality. May surrendered herself willingly, if only to keep her husband and nephew from harm. However, Karn was stopped by the Spider-Army.^[4]

She was later recruited by the S.H.I.E.L.D. of Earth-TRN461 into the Spider-Men, a group of Spider-Man analogs assembled to combat the Multiversal Sinister Six. She became close with Annie Parker, viewing her as an honorary great-niece.^[1]

After revealing her identity to her family, they were supportive of her superhero career and created Team Spider-Ma'am. They ran reconnaissance and Peter also created and maintained Web-Shooters for her.^[2]

Spider-Ma'am was recruited into the Spider-Army to battle the Inheritors on Earth-616. The geneticists of the Superior Spider-Army ended the threat of the Inheritors by transferring their consciousnesses into infant human baby bodies. The children were adopted by May, taking them back to Earth-3123.^[5]

One day, Team Spider-Ma'am was attacked by their Earth-20143 counterparts. Spider-Man came to their aid and they were able to gain the upperhand, until Miles's counterpart entered the fray. Using their connection to the Web of Life, May and Miles opened a portal which sucked the villains into another universe.^[6]

Spider-Ma'am was presumably stung by a spider-wasp belonging to the goddess Shathra and devoured the Inheritors due to their spider nature, she confronted Morlun, who came to take back his family, when she revealed to him that she ate them, Morlun, enraged at the death of his family, attacked her.^[7]

May was later freed from the Hive and returned to her home reality. While on vacation, Ben and Peter went to a timeshare convention. The host revealed himself as Leap-Frog and used mindcontrol gas to get the viewers to write down their banking information. May crashed the conference as Spider-Ma'am. Leap-Frog tried to escape and was apprehended by May. Ben and Peter returned to normal not long after.^[8]
