History
Remy LeBeau, a.k.a. Gambit, was captured by Doctor Doom during the Doom World War. He was taken to a prison in Latveria and held there for many years, presumed dead by the outside world. Among his fellow prisoners were Bellona, Rocket Racoon, Daredevil, Captain America, Thor, and Spider-Man.
After years of captivity, Remy and the other heroes were finally freed when Gabby Kinney infiltrated Doom's fortress in search of Bellona. All of them walked out of their prison and witnessed Doom's death at the hand of Laura Kinney and the people of Latveria subsequently freed.[1]Attributes
