History

The Skull Men are an ancient subterranean race of Humans that mastered some mystical arts that allow them to turn their flesh invisible, showing their skull, gain immunity to fire, a flaming aura, superhuman physical abilities and a regenerative healing factor. They live in underground caves somewhere in China.

World War II[]

During WWII, a young journalist, Mark Todd, found repair in their cave during a Japanese shelling. They said the "Forces of Destiny" brought him to them and they taught him some of their "marvelous lore". Then they sent him back to the surface world to become their "Emissary to the World of Flesh". He then used those powers to fight evil as the Blazing Skull.[1][2]
