Spellbinders (Earth-616)

A witch coven descended from witches who fled their own world when pursued by a magical parasite and came to reside in Salem, Massachusetts. The Spellbinders came together after Kim Vesco was summoned to Salem and targeted by another magical parasite Chad Barrow.^[2]

• Each of the members of the Spellbinders is a witch born with a spell inside of themselves, at age five they are exposed to the pillar of smoke, a mystical device which awakens their magic. Different spells run in families with some granting a single magical ability such as teleportation while others are more open ended in the gifts they bestow such as 'far-seeing' granting clairvoyance, precognition and telepathy.
