When the Vision took over Earth's computer network, Captain America and the Avengers were unable to convince him to return to his body before he became permanently linked to the computer systems.
Captain America was one of the super-heroes present at the United Nations building when Vision unveiled his plan for a peaceful world leadership. They ultimately agreed to support Ultra-Vision in his mission.
Over a century later, a descendant of Steve Rogers operated as a member of the Cosmic Avengers as Commander America.
