History
Tank was a robot assembled by Toad, who due to a quirk of nature swapped powers with Magneto and took over Sentinel City. Toad created Tank to fight the Black Knight and his Iron Avengers, assembling him from the remains of the destroyed Iron Avengers.[1]
The battle would end when Iron Maiden and Cable would work together to redistribute the Vibranium beneath the Savage Land, reversing the conditions that caused Magneto and Toad to swap powers. With Toad defeated and Magneto reinstalled as ruler of Sentinel City, Tank would join the Iron Avengers, despite struggling with his newfound sentience. He joined them in attacking the Absorbing Man when the villain was unleashed upon New York City.[1][2]
