When Mr. Sinister succeeded in corrupting the Quiet Council of Krakoa, turning them and in time every Krakoan mutants into modified clones of himself, one of their first actions was offering artificial X-Genes to humanity in order to welcome them into the Resurrection Protocols.[1]
Nearly 100 years later, the Sinisters launched a massive invasion of Asgard with their chimeras. Balder was one of the many Asgardians who attempted to defends Asgard but was presumably killed when Asgard was destroyed by Sinister corrupted Frost Giants.[2]
