Carl Curtis was a United States Army soldier working for the Strategic Operations Command Center.

Biography[]

Ambush in Porto Verde[]

Carl Curtis was assigned to Emil Blonsky's Strategic Operations Command Center unit where they went to Rocinha to track down a target known as Bruce Banner. While there, they chased Banner from his home into the Pingo Doce Bottling Plant. Curtis watched as Banner got into trouble with a gang of tough guys led by Silva. Blonsky suddenly shot at one of the men. Curtis watched as that man collapsed to the floor, giving them an opening to strike.

Suddenly, Banner began to mutate and grow and pulled in Silva, who was then thrown into a wall, leading the SOCC to make a run for it. Curtis regrouped with his squad and together they shot multiple rounds into the now big and green Hulk. One of the soldiers then chucked a flash bang at the target, showing a silhouette of Banner and his gigantic-supernatural form. Curtis looked at his squad, scared before Hulk threw a gas tank at them. Curtis ran, but succumbed to the tank, getting crushed by it.^[2]

• Expert Marksman: As a soldier, Curtis used a rifle which he shot at Hulk with.

• Tranquilizer Rifle: Curtis used a rifle loaded with tranquilizer darts to capture Hulk.

• Night Vision Goggles: While in the dark Pingo Doce Bottling Plant, Curtis used night vision goggles.
• Bulletproof Vest: To protect himself from Hulk, Curtis wore a bulletproof vest.
