Lambshank is a creature who was created and imprisoned by High Evolutionary.
Biography[]
Lambshank was experimented on by the High Evolutionary, who kept her locked up in Arête Laboratories. Mantis worked with the Guardians of the Galaxy to free the results of the experiments, including the Star Children. Mantis opened the gate to Lambshank's cage and was briefly terrified by her appearance. Mantis felt guilty for being scared and apologized to Lambshank, who fled the laboratory to Knowhere with the rest of the experiments.[1]

Behind the Scenes[]
- According to the commentary track of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, James Gunn originally wrote the role of Lambshank for Stan Lee prior to Lee's death in November 2018. Out of concern for Lee's age, Gunn desisted from forcing him to travel to Atlanta for another cameo as the Watcher Informant and instead have Lee voice Lambshank and then design Lambshank's face to resemble Lee's.[3]
