Ming-Na Wen is an actress on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. She greeted Alex Mind as he infiltrated the set of the series.

Ming-Na Wen started an acting career and was cast to play Melinda May in the series Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. for Marvel Television. She got to know the people on set, although she struggled to learn Sam's name.[1] She took promotional pictures for the series' second season.[2]
Meeting Alex Mind[]
On the set of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Sam held the door open for Wen. Wen thanked her, but accidentally called her the wrong name. Wen saw Alex Mind standing in the door and introduced herself, welcoming him to set. She saw that he had been given a S.H.I.E.L.D. Lanyard and said that it was great. She explained that all they do on set is filming and training, but that she loved it. Wen asked Mind to help with something, and Mind agreed.
Wen trained with Mind, insisting that it felt good as she punched at punch mitts that Mind was wearing. Wen kicked a punch mitt, causing Mind to fall over. Wen and Mind then relaxed together doing yoga until her towel boy arrived. Wen said that they would go again, but Mind ran off, apologizing.[1]
Lockdown[]
The set went into lockdown later that day, and Wen asked if she would be able to leave. The person she asked radioed the question to Dirk, who replied that his boss had ordered a complete lockdown.[3]
Personality[]
Wen is an excitable, bubbly personality who readily embraces new people when they come onto set such as Alex Mind. She is very happy to film and train while on the set of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and will happily share the experience with anyone who wants to. She tries to learn the names of everyone on set, even though she mixed up Sam's name.
