The Rescue of Cassie Yasdan was a mission undertaken by Jessica Jones to bring Cassie Yasdan back to her mother.

Mitch Yasdan and his wife divorced each other, and their daughter, Cassie Yasdan, wanted to stay with her father. However, Mitch's bad lawyer failed to get Mitch the right to his child. Still wanting to keep his daughter, Mitch brought Cassie to Mexico illegally.
Not wanting to allow Mitch to be with Cassie, Mrs. Yasdan filed a missing persons report, and New York City Police Department Officer Eddy Costa told Jessica Jones about the case.[3]

Jessica Jones traveled to Mexico and found Mitch and Cassie Yasdan on the beach. She told Cassie that she needed to bring her home, but Cassie and Mitch tried to convince her not to take her home. Mitch grabbed Jones' arm, causing Jones to become angry and throw him across the beach, getting caught on camera doing so.
Jones brought Cassie back to New York City, despite Cassie's anger toward her.[3]

When Jessica Jones and Cassie Yasdan returned to Mrs. Yasdan's apartment, Cassie angrily entered the building, ignoring her mother. Mrs. Yasdan expressed her anger toward her ex-husband, and Jones tried to suggest that she allowed Cassie to visit him if she wanted. Yasdan became angry and yelled at Jones, but when Jones looked at her threateningly, Yasdan rushed into her apartment.
The video of Jones throwing Mitch Yasdan got posted online and became immensely popular, being seen by people including Vido Arocho and Eddy Costa. The video made it harder for Costa to continue to work with Jones, who later asked Jeri Hogarth for help taken it down.[3]
