Brian D. Freifield (9 May 1950 – 24 August 2010; age 60) was an actor who worked on several episodes of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and Star Trek: Enterprise. As a background actor he received no credit for his appearances but was identified by the name tags of his costumes and the call sheets. His Romulan Tal Shiar uniform was also worn by background actor James Rider and parts of his Jem'Hadar uniform were also worn by Denney Pierce, Todd Slayton, Danton Simon, Joe Witherell, Van Dwyer, B.J. Davis, Buck McDancer, and Pablo Soriano.

He also had supporting or background roles in episodes of Babylon 5 (1996, with Claudia Christian, Eric Steinberg, and Bill Blair and written, executive produced, and created by J. Michael Straczynski), Buddy Faro (1998), Hyperion Bay (1999), and J.J. Abrams' Alias (2002, with Merrin Dungey, Victor Garber, Castulo Guerra, Lilyan Chauvin, and Carl Ciarfalio).

His film work include Escape from L.A (1996, with Michelle Forbes, Jeff Imada, Shelly Desai, Leland Orser, James Lew, and Michele Edison), The Fan (1996, with Charles Hallahan, Michael Jace, Dan Butler, Brad William Henke, James G. MacDonald, Michael Bofshever, Don Fischer, Troy Cephers, Richard Riehle, Earl Billings, John Carroll Lynch, Teresa Molinari, Greg Bronson, and Patti Tippo), the crime drama Blood Stains the Ground (1998), Thick as Thieves (1999, with Erich Anderson, Van Epperson, Terrence Evans, Bruce Greenwood, Michael Jace, and Robert Miano), and Collateral Damage (2002, with Rick Worthy, Ethan Dampf, Raymond Cruz, Don Fischer, Michael Cavanaugh, Clint Lilley, Marianne Lewis, Solomon Burke, Jr., and Manny Perry).
