The Dawkins was a Federation Class 2 shuttle that was in service with Starfleet in the late 24th century, attached to the Jupiter Station in the Sol system.

In 2377, Lt. Reginald Barclay flew the Dawkins to Jupiter Station to visit Dr. Lewis Zimmerman. (VOY: "Life Line")

The shuttlecraft was presumably named for English scientist, ethologist and evolutionary biologist Richard Dawkins. (Star Trek Encyclopedia, 4th ed., vol. 1, p. 186)

The studio model was labelled with USS Voyager's name and registry "74656".
