Derric Nugent is an actor who worked on two episodes of Star Trek: Voyager. He appeared as a Nakan soldier in the sixth season episode "Memorial" for which he filmed his scenes on Tuesday 23 November 1999 on Paramount Stage 16. He then worked as stand-in for Patrick Kilpatrick on the seventh season episode "Drive". Nugent received no credit for his work on Star Trek.

In 1999, Nugent worked as production assistant on the short comedy Choose Life. Acting work includes supporting roles in the crime drama Blood Work (2002, with Tina Lifford, Beverly Leech, Glenn Morshower, Brent Hinkley, Amanda Carlin, Ted Rooney, Craig Hosking, and Todd Bryant), the drama Cruel Game (2002, with Jennifer Tung), the comedy Finding Amanda (2008, with Ed Begley, Jr., Patrick Fischler, Daniel Roebuck, Vaughn Armstrong, Anthony Holiday, Bobby C. King, and Tom Miller), and the mystery drama Atlas Shrugged: Part I (2011, with Patrick Fischler, Rebecca Wisocky, Christina Pickles, Joel McKinnon Miller, Armin Shimerman, and David Doty).

Today, he works as a general contractor for NuBridge Development Inc.
