Lou DeGrado (23 June 1929 – 13 February 2008; age 78) was an actor and dancer who appeared as an alien townsperson in the Star Trek: Voyager first season episode "Time and Again" for which he filmed his scenes on Wednesday 9 November 1994 on Paramount Stage 16 and later as an Alsaurian citizen in the second season episode "Resistance" for which he filmed his scenes on Friday 29 September 1995 and Monday 2 October 1995 on Paramount Stage 16.

Born in Chicago, Illinois to Italian immigrants, DeGrado started a career as professional ice skater, mentored by Sonja Henie. He soon started to work in plays and at the Roxy Theatre on Broadway. During the time of World War II, DeGrado served in the US Army from 1951-1953, where he was the choreographer for the Army's variety troupe show.

In the 1970s he became a spokesperson for Polident and in the 1980s and 1990s, DeGrado appeared in numerous soap operas, television series, and feature films. He appeared in several episodes of the television series Frasier, starring Kelsey Grammer, as a banquet guest in the comedy The Distinguished Gentleman (1992, with Victor Rivers, Noble Willingham, Gary Frank, Daniel Benzali, Julianna McCarthy, Dion Anderson, Gary Price, Lena Banks, Sam Alejan, Jim Portnoy, Gene Poe, John Copage, Sherry O'Keefe, S. Reed, John Rice, Scott Barry, Robert Buckingham, and Irving Ross), as a party guest in the television movie Gloria Vane (1993, with Lisa Banes and Suzanne Lodge), as an Academy Awards guest in the audience in the comedy Naked Gun 33 1/3: The Final Insult (1994, with Raye Birk, Matt Roe, Earl Boen, Rosalind Ingledew, Alex Zimmerman, Marc Alaimo, Rick Scarry, Bob Scribner, Marcy Goldman, Bill Erwin, Bill Zuckert, Lena Banks, Symba Smith, David Keith Anderson, Kevin G. Tracey, Mark Kosakura, Warren Tabata, Cooper, Al Ahlf, Gene Poe, John Staible, Sam Alejan, Kevin Grevioux, George Sasaki, Dan Magee, Jim Portnoy, Robert Coffee, Theresa St. Clair, Andray Johnson, Star Halm, Robert Buckingham, Rob Plaza, Rachen Assapiomonwait, Jessie Biscardi, Buzz Barbee, Kelly Burris, Jasmine Gagnier, Joycelyn Robinson, Mike Paciorek, Kimberly Auslander, Dale Kasman, and Martin Valinsky), and in episodes of the daytime soap The Bold and the Beautiful (1991 and 1998, with Robert Pine) and the comedy series The Nanny (1998, with Faith Burton and Daniel Davis).

DeGrado also worked as Ricardo Montalban lookalike and was contracted to appear on several Fantasy Island themed shows, events, and conventions. Beside working as dance host aboard the Royal Cruise Line, he joined the cast of the Fabulous Palm Springs Follies, a theatre group. In February 2006, he received his star on the Palm Springs Walk of Fame.

Lou DeGrado passed away in Palm Springs, California on 13 February 2008 at the age of 78. [1]
