Rich Handley

Rich Handley is an author and editor who works on comic book collections and archive publications for Star Trek and other franchises. From 2019 to 2020, Handley was the editor of Eaglemoss's Star Trek Graphic Novel Collection. He started writing Star Trek material as a reporter and columnist on Star Trek: Communicator and he also wrote a couple articles for Star Trek Magazine.

Handley was a contributing author to Sequart's New Life and New Civilizations: Exploring Star Trek Comics essay anthology, and he wrote approximately 100 introductions to editions of the Star Trek Graphic Novel Collection. As of volume 72, he became the editor of that line of graphic novels. He worked with IDW's Library of American Comics to reprint both the Star Trek: The Classic UK Comics and the Star Trek Comic Strip (US) in hardcover format, served in the role of assistant editor on all five books, provided his personal collection for reproduction in those books, and wrote the introductions to each volume.

In addition, Handley was a consultant on GIT Corp's Star Trek: The Complete Comic Book Collection and Star Trek: Movie Comic Book Collection CD-ROM sets. He contributed to Modiphius's Star Trek Adventures - The Shackleton Expanse Campaign Guide and he currently writes a column about comics for Titan Books' Star Trek Explorer (2021) magazine, as well as prose fiction starting with issue #10. Most recently, Handley contributed to IDW's Star Trek, Issue 400. He has written and edited books and essays for numerous other franchises as well, and his work can be viewed at his website.
