Romulan whiskey was a blue alcoholic beverage of Romulan origin.
In 2380, this whiskey was available at Starfleet's Douglas Station despite being against Starfleet regulations. Ensign Beckett Mariner obtained a bottle of it there and drank it aboard the USS Cerritos during her shore leave, and mused to Brad Boimler that he probably expected it to be green. (LD: "Second Contact")
After Boimler transferred to the USS Titan later that year, his friends stashed the bottle of Romulan whiskey on his former bunk along with various other items. (LD: "Strange Energies")

Background information[]
The creators of Lower Decks consulted with linguist Trent Pehrson, who had created the Romulan language heard and seen in Star Trek: Picard, to create a name for Romulan whiskey. Pehrson decided that while Romulans call Terran (Earth) whiskey WesKih, the beverage Mariner was drinking was MelShat, "a Romulan spirit distilled from a dried, aged Romulan grain known as GenMat."
