Gysulan, Are you sure they didn't say circa 600 AD rather than 6th century? Because the 6th century was circa 500 - 599, and this was not a part of the Viking period. Removed bginfo regarding Greenland[]

I removed it, for it doesn't seem relevant, nor is it sourced. If we're listing facts about Denmark, where would we stop? That it once controlled large portions of England ("Danelaw")? Or that Denmark was occupied by the Nazis in World War II? The latter, while not sourced, seems more relevant because both World War II and (especially) Nazis were referenced in Trek? (VOY: "The Killing Game", "The Killing Game, Part II", ENT: "Storm Front", "Storm Front, Part II", TOS: "The City on the Edge of Forever", "Patterns of Force")
Nonetheless, I don't think any of that belongs in the background, unless it's referenced. Even then, I'm not sure it would belong in the background for this article: I don't see why it would be relevant if some non-canon source, say in an interview with Rick Berman, stated it. (Maybe it's ok for the background on the Greenland page, where it already exists, though unsourced.) Of course, I could be completely wrong. If so, please re-insert the removed text!
