Biography[]
Having reached the rank of commander, Branch was the commanding officer of the Epsilon IX monitoring station by the year 2273.
In that year, Branch and the rest of his staff were "absorbed" by the V'Ger entity as it passed near Epsilon IX on its course for Earth. (TOS movie, novelization & comic adaptation: The Motion Picture, TOS comic: "The Motion Picture")
